Teaching At The Mill

Are you an artist, writer, music or creative professional looking for inspirational workshop spaces with accommodation? Or are you looking for a tranquil and collaborative environment to host your yoga, pilates, wellness or meditation retreat? We can accommodate your retreat!

With 6 bedrooms and one apartment across 4 floors of the main building, we can accommodate 12 people - shared occupancy / 8 people single occupancy, within the Mill itself . There is camping and van parking for slightly larger gatherings.

Outdoor shower and bath, for bathing under the stars!

Direct access to the River & feeder canal for cold water swimming. along with and lots of inspiring and scenic breakout spaces for guests to eat outdoors ad relax

We’re also located within a UNESCO area of outstanding natural beauty, with direct access to hiking and walking paths. The incredible landscape surrounding the Mill, the connection with nature, and access to village life a short walk away really adds to the experience.

Ceramics & Print Making Art Studio Space For Hire

If you are looking for a light and airy studio space in stunning surroundings, The Mill boasts its own separate studio on the banks of the river. The space can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people and has its own WC, outdoor sink area and lareg outdoor working table. We have electric wheels, one large electric kiln and a gas fired Raku Kiln.

Summer 2023 saw the delivery of a stunning Albion Printing Press - with us on permanent loan from Oxford University. A dream com true! The press is located

Camping Available - to accommodate mini festivals & larger gatherings & events up to 100 people. Additional B&B available with local partners.

 

Photographic Location Hire

Set in a UNESCO site of outstanding natural beauty, The Mill  stands on the banks of the River Cernon on the edge of the village of Saint Georges De Luzencon in the Cernon Valley, 3km /2miles from the Millau Viaduct.

The Mill still retains many of its original features, and is being sympathetically restored by its current owner, interior architect & designer Nathalie Edwards. Approximately 1.000 square metres / 10,764 square feet of internal spaces, broadly dissected into 3 areas per floor.
