Connecting, Writing, Making
We have some exciting announcements!
We have been busy behind the scenes here at The Mill curating a full and varied Program of Events!
CONNECTING
In January our first artist joined us as part of our Shared Studio Space Program in collaboration with the newly launched www.sharemystudio.com platform.
Set up by the incredibly talented portrait artist Emily Rogers to serve the Artist community by offering shared (or exchanged) studio spaces around the world, thus facilitating affordable short term rental space for all types of artists.
If you know an artist that needs a studio space or if you have a space you yourself want to share, get in contact with Emily here
Here at The Mill we will be extending the Share My Studio program through Autumn 2023 to Spring 2024, rolling forward year on year. Establishing the Mill as a diverse hub of ever changing international artists co creating in the ceramic studio and workshop/exhibition space, for which we are very VERY excited!!
WRITING
Our ever popular Writers Rooms are back for 3 weeks from April 8th.
We hold space and come together as a small community of writers from around the world, to spend time doing the work, getting pen to paper and working on our projects.
This is self directed time and all writing levels and genres are welcome.
Time to reconnect with nature, come home to yourself, not worry about 'the chores' and allow yourself time to just be and write.
The rooms are kept keenly priced to support the writing community as much as possible. One, two or three weeks can be booked. All meals included (except for 2 evenings, the chefs days off!)
Rooms are filling up fast!
If you would like to book or require further information click the link here. Or head over to our events page for more details.
