More about the artist:

The music of composer, saxophonist, flautist and scholar Jason Robinson (“robust and shimmering” New York Times) flourishes in the fertile overlaps between improvisation and composition, acoustic and electronic music, tradition and experimentalism.

Trombonist and composer, Christopher Cox has created a powerful, dark and rounded sound. Once described as a "musical maniac" by journalist Dwight Hobbes, Cox has always sought refuge in the unpredictable, playing everything from free jazz to political hip-hop.

Denman Maroney plays what he calls hyper-piano and uses a harmony system that allows him to improvise and compose in multiple tempos at once. “No one has explored the art of the prepared piano more diligently and creatively than hyperpianist Denman Maroney (Time Out New York).”

Scott Walton has been praised for his dramatic solos (Downbeat), graceful fluidity (All About Jazz) and propulsive energy (One-Final Note).

Renowned drummer and percussionist, Denis Fournier tirelessly explores what happens in contact with skin, wood and metal. His music always returns to jazz, to its experimental nature and its grandeur in the emotion of the moment.
